Woven woods have reclaimed their status as a window treatment with the qualities prized by today’s top designers: the warmth and texture of natural yarns, fibers, and woods. No longer limited to seashore motifs, woven woods are being specified in the most upscale of settings.

Available colors range from unpainted woods to deeply stained finishes. Yarns used in some patterns vary from pure whites to deep blues and browns.

Traditional patterns, such as macramé-like weaves of yarns and dowels, tortoise shell, and painted and unpainted woods, are still available.

Woven woods can be made as flat or permanently folded roman shades. They are also available as:

• Track systems made for sliding doors and room divides
